Genuine question, don't want to slag those brands at all.
I am just curious what's the advantage of buying a Linux laptop, where for the same price, you can get a Thinkpad that's been known as one of the best quality laptops over the last couple of decades? Is it the case of better integration between OS and hardware and/or software?
Would buying a Linux laptop make any sense for me? I've been using Ubuntu for the last couple of years. I don't really use much of the linux flexibility in day-to-day stuff, but just like the idea of open source. I do some fairly basic coding as well, so it's nice to be exposed to linux terminal as a default.
