BSD Router Project

BSD Router Project

The BSD Router Project (BSDRP) is a router software distribution based on the FreeBSD operating system. It is designed to be a fully functional, high-performance router that can be run on commodity x86-based hardware. The software includes a wide range of routing protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, and RIP, as well as firewall and traffic shaping features. BSDRP provides a web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for managing and configuring the system, and it also includes a command-line interface (CLI) for advanced users. It is a fork of the m0n0wall firewall project and it’s focused on providing a small and efficient router distribution. BSDRP is aimed at network administrators and IT professionals who are looking for a powerful, stable and easy-to-use router software solution that is based on the FreeBSD operating system.
